Oslo Opera House

Ever thought you’ll walk on the roof of a landmark? You can do it here at the Oslo Opera House! The Oslo Opera House is the main centre of the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet. Built in the early 2000s, the building was open to the public in 2008 and has 1,100 rooms. The contemporary architecture of the building was carefully designed by local designers so that guests can enjoy getting a chance to enjoy the scenic views from the rooftop after enjoying a performance/show inside the premises.
Everything about the Opera House’s main hall spells spectacular - the shape of the theatres, the curtains, the chandelier, and of course the performances by opera and ballet artists! On a typical guided tour, the guide for the day will tell you about the building’s unique architecture, the technology used on stage, and the various opera and ballet performances that take place here. To give viewers a wholesome experience, the seating offers the best view of the performing artists. As far as the views are concerned, when you reach the top of the building, you can see strings of vibrant wooden houses, a cluster of islands close to the mainland, and of course, cliffs and valleys surrounding the city. You can either take a guided tour (Norwegian/English) or customise a tour to suit your needs.
