In the Heart of Oslo Walking Tour

Oslo is known for its rich history, spectacular architecture, amazing cuisine, breathtaking scenic views, and bustling nightlife. Once all participants have arrived at the meeting point, your guide will greet you and brief you about the landmarks you’ll be covering during the sightseeing trip. First, you will stop at the magnificent Akershus Fortress, which has seen many battles right from the 14th century to the Second World War. Your guide will tell you how the fortress was taken over by the German forces and how it was liberated after the Norwegian resistance movement.

You'll then walk towards Kristiania Torg, which used to be a bustling city square back in the day, then stroll towards your next stop, the Royal Palace. The Norwegian royals have been residing here since the structure was completed in the 1840s. The historic walking tour will end on Karl Johan, near the Parliament. There are many eateries nearby where you can grab a bite and a hot drink. Kindly note that all hikes are on your own responsibility.
