The river cuts through the centre of the city, from Maridalsvannet Lake to Oslofjord, covering a stretch of 8 km. Going around the Opera House, you will be taken through Grønland where the core of the city’s historical evolution is based.

One of the eye-catching locations in this trip is Akerselva's most spectacular waterfall, located by the Beier Bridge. You will also get to see gems like the Fairy Tale Bridge and further tread along waterfalls, forested areas, swimming spots, and fishing grounds.
