Did you know that Oslo has a scenic waterfront away from the bustling city? Book this boat trip to cruise through the popular attractions of Oslofjord.

Ever dreamt of spending some time in a cosy boat sailing through calm waters? Sounds like the perfect getaway right? Norway Yacht Charter offers a sightseeing trip that will give your eyes picturesque locations to feast upon! This classic fjord tour takes a path through the narrow waterways of Oslofjord, a scenic gem in Norway’s capital. Watch how the story of this city unfolds before you through the coastal lines of this inlet that stretches up to almost the city centre.

Reach the meeting point at Rådhusbrygge 10 minutes before the departure time and get ready to board the boat. Once onboard, the experienced crew will share the necessary information about this fjord cruise trip and safety conditions. From here, you will embark on a journey through a maze of islands, witnessing the idyllic bays and the shorelines studded with small summer houses.

One of the islands you will sail around in this boat trip is Hovedøya, the closest one to downtown Oslo that boasts picture-perfect waterfronts. Dyna lighthouse at the reef south of island Bygdoy is another attraction worth encountering, especially for its aesthetic build and accessible location. Cruising through these areas provides an overview of the city with a whole new perspective comprising rocky shores and breathtaking sceneries.

Further down the journey comes the island of Bjorvika where the harbour displays the Oslo Opera House, home to traditional Norwegian opera and ballet. As the boat approaches this award-winning structure, get ready to be spellbound by its brilliant design, and don’t forget to grab hold of your camera to capture it! While crossing the Bygdøy peninsula, you will see a prominently visible massive brick-walled building, the Maritime Museum, with veteran sailing ships parked outside.

Another such establishment is the Fram Museum, a triangular building, that won’t fail to catch your notice! Further down the south of Bygdøy, this fjord cruise tour crosses stunning beaches such as Huk, popular for its pristine shores and separate recreational spaces. As the boat passes through the fjord, an audio commentary will be played describing each landmark.

Once all the tour sites have been covered, you will return to the start point and head back to dry land. This cruise runs from 12th May to 17th October with departure times at 10:30 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:30 pm.
