The Glasshytta is the heart of our company, and glass is still blown here using the same methods as more than 260 years ago. A significant production of wine glasses, decorative pieces, and special designs takes place at Hadeland Glassverk.
Join our guide on a walking tour through the Glasshytta, where you will be led through the entire process, from the hot to the cold side. You will follow the production from before the glass mass is melted all the way until the finished product adorns a beautiful table. During the tour you will see raw materials, glowing molten glass, get close to the glassblowers, and witness cutting, polishing, and the creation of the exquisite final product.
